THE MAKING OF A GREAT CIDER
Please remember to bring clean jugs; our supply of jugs will be limited. The sweetest cider generally comes from the Summer apples. Later season apples can be mixed to proved sweet or tart cider, depending on your tastes.
This is one of our two cider sheds.
Apples are washed
Added to the hopper, where chopped
The apple mash is then pressed
and the juices drain into a bowl which is then poured into your containers.
The pressing of cider is a fun family event which offers a tasty reward.
