THE MAKING OF A GREAT CIDER

Please remember to bring clean jugs; our supply of jugs will be limited. The sweetest cider generally comes from the Summer apples. Later season apples can be mixed to proved sweet or tart cider, depending on your tastes.

This is one of Our main cider shed our two cider sheds.

Apples in the wash  Apples are washed  Our friend Taylor

Hopper filling and cider pressing  Added to the hopper, where chopped   Cider press

Apple mash  The apple mash is then pressed   Cider in the bowl

and the juices drain into a bowl which is then poured into your containers.

The pressing of cider is a fun family event which offers a tasty reward.
